ABOUT US
Dr. Lisa Longhofer specializes in orthopedic, upper extremity and hand surgeries. Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeons receive a full year of specialized hand training beyond that of orthopaedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, or general surgeons. In addition to being board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons (ABOS), Dr. Lisa Longhofer has been a long-time member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
We understand the complex network of blood vessels, nerves, muscles, ligaments, tendons, joints and bones of the hand, wrist and upper extremities. Just as important, though, we appreciate how important pain-free motion and function of the hand and body is to quality of life. It is our goal to restore our patients back to optimal performance – whatever their activity level or age.

DR. LISA LONGHOFER
Dr. Lisa K. Longhofer practices Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. She grew up on a Texas Panhandle Cattle Ranch surrounded by motivated, hard-working people who simply had to get their jobs done. This ranch-life philosophy is the foundation of her practice where she specializes in restoring function and returning patients back to their work and activities.
This Texas Panhandle native is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and completed her Fellowship in Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at The Hand Center in San Antonio, Texas after receiving her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX and then completing her Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Kansas in Wichita, KS.

I am focused on getting my patients their function back, including seeing each patient through the entire healing process. Dr. Longhofer was raised on a cattle ranch just outside of Canadian, TX. She graduated Valedictorian from Booker High School and then proceeded to Texas Tech University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and then a Master of Science in Biology. She completed her Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Science Center with Junior AOA Honors. She received the Orthopaedic Research Institute Award upon completion of her Orthopaedic Surgery Residency.
